Wir sind die jüngste Pipe Band in Zürich. Wir freuen uns, unsere Zuhörer musikalisch zu verwöhnen und einen Hauch Schottlands verspüren zu lassen...

Neben der Pflege traditioneller schottischer Musik sind wir auch offen für musikalische Experimente. Losgelöst vom Alltag wollen wir Musik machen, Ideen umsetzen und Träume wahr werden lassen:
"We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams".

Wichtig ist uns ein freundschaftlicher und lockerer Umgang zwischen den einzelnen Bandmitgliedern. Wir legen zwar Wert auf eine korrekte und genaue Spielweise, dies aber nicht auf Kosten der Spielfreude. Geographisch sind wir in Gockhausen, in der Nähe von Zürich beheimatet.

Bei uns sind neue Drummer und Piper jederzeit herzlich willkommen. Wir freuen uns auch über Anfänger, die das Dudelsackspielen oder das Drummen erlernen wollen.

Zurich Caledonian Pipe Band - a slightly different Pipe Band

We are the youngest Pipe Band in Zurich area. We like to entertain our audience with music and have them sense a "wee bit" of Scotland.

In addition to our traditional Scottish bagpipe music, we are also open to musical experimentation. We play music, permute our ideas and let dreams come true. We are the music makers and we are the "weavers of dreams".

It is important for us to develop friendships and foster a sense of community spirit. We also wish to play our music as traditional as possible but not at the expense of enthusiasm. We are based in Gockhausen on the outskirts of Zurich.

New pipers and drummers are welcome at any time. We welcome beginners who would like to play either the bagpipes or the drums.
